No. Unless you took Michael's class before, you need the Essentials class.
In fact, you probably learned to use Excel the way most people do - the wrong way. You've probably been using Excel incorrectly for years. Yes, this is class covers VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables. More importantly, this class teaches you how to actually design functional spreadsheets that don't become a MESS.
Start with the Essentials class or you'll be lost in the later classes.
Yes, but as mentioned above, these classes are meant to be taken in order, and if you don't, you'll most likely be lost. The knowledge in Part 2 and Part 3 build on the previous classes.

Yes, the event is 100% live. We also encourage you to have your camera and microphone on during the ZOOM call so you can ask questions during class. This is not meant to be a passive workshop. We love questions! You are also free to simply observe the class without turning on your camera/mic.
You will receive a recording of the class afterwards so you can review the material.
1.) Press the "GET TICKET" button on this site. It will take you to a purchase page (100% secure and provided by Eventbrite).
If you are buying several tickets at once, it will prompt you for each attendee's name and email address.
2.) Each attendee will receive an email with a link to the Workshop event portal (through Eventbrite).
If the attendee doesn't already have an Eventbrite account, it will simply ask for a password to create an account.
3.) On the day of the course, simply open the confirmation email and click the link. You'll be transported to the Eventbrite event portal, which will allow you to join the Zoom meeting.
4.)After class, this same portal will allow attendees to view a recording of the class.
Each course is 6 hours long, which takes place over 2 separate 3-hour sessions. (Tuesday 2-5pm, and then Thursday 2-5pm, for example).
The class will be live on Zoom. Questions are encouraged. Example files and datasets will be provided before class (via email)
Yes. Part 1 and Part 2 are 100% Mac compatible. Part 3 covers SOME features that work on the latest version of Mac for Excel (Power Query), but Power Pivot and Power BI are only available on Windows.
If you're serious about using Excel, you'll eventually want to get a windows computer ($400 laptop is fine) because Microsoft purposely makes the best features only available on the Windows version. You can imagine why.
